ostudy

Study guides and lessons

Your textbooks and lecture materials, turned into a study plan

Add a chapter, a slide deck or your lecture notes. With the AI you choose, ostudy writes a study guide that follows the material section by section, plus cards to review it, and every section points back to the pages it came from.

How a guide is made

From a file to a plan you can read

  1. 01

    ostudy reads it

The document is read on your device, including scanned pages and tables, and broken into the topics it teaches.

  2. 02

    A learning plan

The topics are put in a teaching order, so each fact is covered once, in the section where it belongs.

  3. 03

    Guide and cards together

The guide and the flashcards are written side by side from the same plan. Either can finish first.

  4. 04

    Checked before saving

Every section is checked for structure before it's saved, and a failed rewrite never replaces a guide you already have.

Reading a guide

Built for studying, not skimming

A guide opens on an overview: In one minute, the learning objectives and the key ideas. Then each section has its own page, with an estimated reading time and a chip naming the exact pages or slides it covers.

Whole courses

One guide for everything in a subject

Put a course's documents in one subject: the textbook chapters, the slides and your lecture notes. Make study materials writes a single guide across all of them, organized by shared topics and how they connect, without reading each document again.

The subject's cards are studied live from its decks. Nothing is copied, so each fact keeps one schedule wherever you study it.

In development

Lessons

Next: short lessons that teach each topic of a subject in order, with a check along the way. The app can already write a course, one lesson per topic. The lesson player is being built now.

AI can still miss or misread things. Each section links to its source so you can check it, especially for subjects where details matter.
